Learn how house plants can help to keep the air clean in your home


Many people may be surprised to learn what air-cleaning power-houses houseplants are.

Join the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh – Mt. Washington on Wednesday, July 30 at 6:30 p.m. to learn some fascinating information on the best ways to use houseplants to keep the air in the home fresh and free of toxins. Learn which plants will handle the heavy chemical residues lurking in the air and much more.

Participants will:

Learn some easy tips to recognize home toxins that cause health issues;

Know what kind of natural choices they have to detox and clean their living space (especially important when remodeling); and,

Receive recipes for healthy cleaners to make and use.
