Pittsburgh police participating in seat belt enforcement campaign

 


The Pittsburgh Police department, in partnership with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, participated in the kick off of NHTSA’s Border to Border Seat Belt Enforcement Campaign on Monday, May 19.

The enforcement action occurred from 6 – 10 p.m. and police had contact with more than 600 drivers.

The Pittsburgh Police will continue with random enforcement patrols city wide through June 8 in support of PennDOT’s Buckle Up PA program.
