Mayor's Night Out at Warrington Recreation Center

Monday evening, April 7, Mayor William Peduto and his top staff will meet personally with residents to hear -- and act upon -- their ideas and concerns about city government issues at the Warrington Recreation Center, 329 E. Warrington Avenue, from 7-9 p.m.

During the “Mayor’s Night Out” any resident who wants to talk can meet one-on-one with Mayor Peduto and he will direct them to the appropriate administrator for follow-up. Later in the month he will hold a “Mayor’s Night In” where people from around the city can come to his offices for similar consultations.

The events will be regularly scheduled and move throughout the City.

Holding the regular sessions reflects the Mayor’s efforts to instill transparency and accountability into City government, and follow such moves as making his daily schedule public, hiring top officials through the public-private Talent City process, creating a Community Affairs team that meets nightly with neighborhood groups, and creating a Bureau of Neighborhood Empowerment to focus strictly on struggling communities.
