Belloli will be interim executive director of MWCDC

Mount Washington Community Development Corporation (MWCDC) Board of Directors has named Rick Belloli the interim executive director of the non-profit.

Mr. Belloli will oversee operations and staff to ensure a smooth transition, while also assisting the Board of Directors to identify organizational needs for a permanent executive director.

“Rick has a long and successful history in community development, and we look forward to partnering with him over the next few months to ensure our programs operate seamlessly during this time,” said Jon Lusin, president of the MWCDC Board of Directors.

Mr. Belloli’s experience in community development spans more than 20 years and began in his hometown of Detroit, Michigan. Formerly the executive director of the now dissolved South Side Local Development Company, he is currently the principal of Civic Square, a consulting company specializing in real estate, business district strategies, and non-profit management and governance.

The MWCDC Board of Directors has selected a search committee to conduct a thorough, nationwide search for a permanent executive director, and expect the position to be filled by late spring 2014.
