Carnegie museums of art, natural history now open on Mondays

 


Carnegie Museums of Art and Natural History will be open Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Presidents’ Day, Memorial Day…and every other Monday in 2014.

The museums have announced a change in operating schedule: beginning this year, the museums will be open each Monday, 10 a.m.–5 p.m. and closed on Tuesdays. Previously the museums were closed on Mondays and open on Tuesdays.

As before, the museums will be open seven days a week in the summer, between Memorial Day and Labor Day. In addition they will be:

Open on Tuesdays for the following holidays in 2014: Election Day (November 4); Veterans Day (November 11); and, Tuesday following Christmas (December 30).

Closed the following holidays: Easter (April 20); Thanksgiving (November 27); and, Christmas (December 25).
