Allentown Pop-up lists its December actvities

 


CLP Pop-up Allentown at 1206 Arlington Avenue is planning a full December of events for the whole family.

Snowflake Fun! on Monday, Dec. 9 from 4-5 p.m. they will be making, watching, talking, eating all things snowflake.

No-Cook Cooking Club on Saturday, Dec. 14 from 1-2 p.m. features Fresh fruit, veggies, smoothies, snacks, cooking skills - something different every month. Join in for this month’s delicious program.

‘Tis the season for snowmen, too. Join the Pop-up in the fun-filled activity for all ages with Snowmanz! on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2-3 p.m.

Those with questions about the Affordable Care Act or “Obamacare” are welcome to attend Understanding the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) on Wednesday, Dec. 18 from 2-3 p.m. Learn more about how health insurance works and what programs they and their families may be eligible for.

Need help applying for health insurance through the new Health Insurance Marketplace? If so...come in for an information session with a Certified Application Counselor (CAC) from Squirrel Hill Health Center. The CAC will present information about the Affordable Care Act and how it affects everyone. They will discuss the basics of health insurance and using the new Health Insurance Marketplace.

After the information session, attendees may sign up for individual appointments to walk through the enrollment process with the CAC.

On Saturday, Dec. 21 the Pop-up will be focusing on the Alaskan dogsled race with Iditarod. MUSH! All about the Iditarod, from 2-3 p.m. All mushers welcome!

A Pop-Up Holiday Party is planned for Monday, Dec. 23 from 3-5 p.m. It’s that time of year to celebrate - family, fun and food. Join in for their Holiday Party. All ages welcome.
