Carrick library events for toddlers to teens in Dec.


Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh - Carrick, 1811 Brownsville Road, has scheduled programs for toddlers to teens during November and December.

Storytime is on Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. on December 3, 10 and 17. Join it to share stories, rhymes, songs, and more fun activities to nurture early literacy skills.

Storytime is recommended for toddlers, preschoolers, and their caregivers.

Kids Club takes place from 3:30 - 4:30 on Thursday afternoons December 5, 12 and 19 with art projects, crafts, games and more. Drop into the library after school on Thursdays for a new activity each week.

Kids Club is recommended for children in grades K-5.

Teen Thing for teens in grades 6-12 takes place on Tuesdays 4:30 - 5:30 p.m. Teens are welcome to come in and hang out at the library for art projects, games, and snacks.

The next Teen Think: CLP- Carrick’s Teen Advisory Council is on Saturday, Dec. 14, from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Teens in grades 6-12 who want to get involved in planning what happens at the library are welcome to come in, eat pizza and earn volunteer time for sharing their ideas.

Teen Anime Club is for teens crazy about anime and manga. Teens in grades 6-12 can come in to hang out with other fans at the library on Saturday, Dec. 7 at 3 p.m.
