Last Munchkin Monday coming up at Science Center
The last Monday of October will conclude the popular Munchkin Mondays of the fall season at Carnegie Science Center.
Free with general admission to the Science Center, Munchkin Mondays introduces children to science concepts by offering a variety of hands-on activities for preschoolers, as well as time to socialize with their peers.
On Monday, Oct. 28, kids are invited to wear their Halloween costumes to “Not So Spooky, Spooky Science!” Activities will focus on pumpkins, bats, spiders, and all things not-so-spooky about Halloween science.
Children, with the assistance of parents or guardians, will participate in story time, sing-alongs, make-and-takes, and planetarium and live demonstration shows geared to the smallest scientists. These special activities are scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Advance registration is not required. Individual families, as well as daycare, preschool, and community groups, are welcome to participate. Visit CarnegieScienceCenter.org for more details.
