On Halloween, the parking lot of the Hot Metal Bridge Faith Community will be creeping and crawling with trick-or-treaters and their families.
The parking lot will be transformed into a one-stop candy distribution center. Instead of walking door-to-door, kids will walk from car-to-car. The trunks of minivans and station wagons will serve as front porches, decorated for the season and accompanied by costumed folks handing out candy.
“This year we are adding a fun new Halloween maze for the trick-or-treaters,” said the director of children’s ministry for the church, Annan McGinley. “We hope families will include our Trunk-or-Treat parking lot in their regular trick-or-treat route.”
Trunk-or-Treat will be available during regular trick-or-treat hours, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 31 in the parking lot of the Hot Metal Bridge Faith Community.
The church can be reached at 412-481-4010, via email to email@example.com, or on the web at www.hotmetalbridge.com.
