Science center entertains kids during their parents' night out

Parents’ Night Out at Carnegie Science Center simplifies date night for parents seeking a safe and entertaining location where their kids can spend the evening. The next Parents’ Night Out is slated for Saturday, Oct. 12.

Parents can register their kids, ages 6-12, in advance for an evening of science fun, featuring pizza, a movie at the Rangos Omnimax Theater, and a science workshop. Plus, kids also have a chance to explore four floors of interactive exhibits.

The drop-off time is 5 p.m. and pick up is at 10 p.m. (or 11 p.m. for just $10 more). The cost per child is $35 for members of Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh, and $40 for non-members.

Parents’ Night Out continues monthly through the end of the year. Future dates are Saturday, Nov. 10, and Saturday, Dec. 7.

To register, call 412-237-1637. For more details, visit CarnegieScienceCenter.org.
