'Catechism' contributions reach $350,000 for convents

Kimberly Richard, as Sister, collects money for retired nunsafter each performance at City Theatre. To date, she has collected $350,000 to benefit 16 motherhouses in the region.

Coinciding with its production of Sister’s Summer School Catechism: God Never Takes a Vacation featuring Kimberly Richards, City Theater announced that fundraising to benefit retired nuns has reached $350,000.

All audience contributions collected at the end of each City Theatre performance of Late Nite Catechism, Sister’s Christmas Catechism, and Sister’s Summer School Catechism benefit 16 motherhouses in the region.

Sister’s collection takes place directly following each performance.
