CLP Board of Trustees will hold community meeting in South Side

Community members interested in the current and future plans of Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh have two opportunities to meet and interact directly with the library’s Board of Trustees.

This month, Library Trustees will hold informal meetings at the following Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh locations to discuss issues:

Wednesday, Sept. 18, 6:30 – 8 p.m. at CLP – Allegheny, 1230 Federal Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15212.

Thursday, Sept. 19, 6:30 – 8 p.m. at CLP – South Side, 2205 East Carson Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15203.

In addition to neighborhood meetings, the board holds an Annual Public Meeting in March and has enhanced the library’s website to provide greater access to relevant library information. Members of the community are also encouraged to submit comments and suggestions to the board anytime on the library’s website.

Community members interested in learning more about Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh’s Board of Trustees may view information, including, approved board meeting minutes, board member profiles and ways to communicate with the board, online at http://www.carnegielibrary.org/about/trustees.
