So. Side Chamber, Keep our PUPS Safe holding volunteer glass SweeP-UP Sat.

Join the South Side Chamber of Commerce and Keep Our PUPS Safe for another volunteer glass SweeP-UP on Saturday, Sept. 7 from 10 a.m. until noon.

Volunteers will meet at the 18th Street parking lot for registration and breakfast goodies at 9:30 a.m. and from 10 a.m. - noon, they’ll roll up their sleeves and get to work in the community.

This “dog themed” event will focus on keeping South Side clean and safe for all the furry friends. They will be promoting responsible dog ownership and also installing several dog waste stations throughout the Flats.

As with last time, this is a very popular volunteer day and you will need to email the South Side Chamber of Commerce to reserve a spot on one of the Pup Clean-Up Teams.

If interested in volunteering for this event, contact Kelly Thomas at the South Side Chamber of Commerce office, 412-431-3360, or via email at info@southsidechamber.org.

Last fall 44 volunteers picked up 400 pounds of glass off South Side Flats streets. To see images from the last event visit: http://keepourpupssafe.com/.
