Arlington homeowners may qualify for help to make some facade improvements

Arlington residents may be eligible to receive a matching grant of up to $5,000 through the Urban Redevelopment Authority’s Residential Façade Improvement Program.

Eligible façade improvements include new windows, restoration of architectural details, downspout repair, exterior lighting, doors, trim paint, power washing, porch repair and more.

A Façade Improvement Workshop will be held at the Henry Kaufmann Center, 2201 Salisbury Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15210, on Thursday, Aug. 1 from 6-7:15 p.m. Representatives from the Design Center will be there to share renovation resources and DIY curb appeal tips.

The workshop is coordinated with support from the Arlington Civic Council.
