Applications for the Georgina Chamberlain Peters Scholarship are now available.
The annual award is presented by The Brashear Association at its awards luncheon, Bravo, Brashear!, held in late October.
The Peters Scholarship is given to an individual who has worked with the association, either as a volunteer or a participant in an agency program. The scholarship recognizes those who have exhibited community leadership, volunteerism, and a willingness to help others.
To qualify, an applicant must request, complete, and return an application to The Brashear Association. All applicants must be enrolled or accepted for enrollment in any accredited educational program. Applicants can use the funds for tuition payments at a private secondary school, college or university, or trade/proprietary school.
The Peters Scholarship is endowed by members of the Peters Family in memory of Georgina Peters. Ms. Peters was a board member and active volunteer at The Brashear Association. The scholarship recognizes those who demonstrate the same love of community.
To request an application, contact Brashear’s director of services, Christine Gaus, at 412-431-2236 or by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org . Completed applications must be submitted by Friday, June 28.
