Birmingham Foundation releases anniversary report
The Birmingham Foundation is releasing the publication of its 15th Anniversary Report.
“Building a Foundation: 15th Anniversary Report” will be launched on the foundation’s website – http://www.birminghamfoundation.org – by May 31. The report will focus on grantmaking in South Pittsburgh over the last 15 years, the successes achieved and challenges faced by ten of the Birmingham Foundation’s grantee organizations and other special features.
The foundation will also mail out a printed ‘highlights’ report; it is available upon request by calling 412-481-2777 or emailing the office email@example.com.
The Birmingham Foundation was founded in 1996 as a private foundation with assets from the sale of South Side Hospital to UPMC. The Birmingham Foundation has awarded over $15.1 million in grants to more than 175 organizations since grantmaking began in 1997.
The foundation’s target area includes 14 communities, among which are Allentown, Arlington, Beltzhoover, Carrick, Knoxville, Mount Oliver, Mount Washington, St. Clair and South Side (zip codes 15203, 15210 and 15211).
