Mount library offering family programing

 


Beginning the week of April 14, all of The Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh neighborhood locations will be increasing their hours of operation.

The Mount Washington branch, 315 Grandview Avenue, will be open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Monday, Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

A variety of programs will be offered in April:

Etools: A Book Lover’s Guide to eBooks, Websites and Apps will be presented on Thursday, April 11 at 7 PM and on Saturday April 13, 2013 at 2 p.m.

An Open House will be held on April, 17 from 5-8 p.m. to welcome everyone to enjoy the library on a new night. A variety of activities is planned for all ages.

Family Fun Storytime: One Book Every Young Child will be held on Thursday, April 18 at 11 a.m. Join in for some transportation fun. There will be songs, movements, stories, a craft, and other fun activities that go along with the One Book Every Young Child for 2013, The Bus for Us by Susanne Bloom.
