Ceramics to start up at the Market House

The Market House Senior Center has moved back into its original home, the newly renovated Market House at 12th and Bingham streets.

A fun filled April calendar full of trips, classes, parties and other activities is planned.

They will be reopening their Ceramics Program with introductory classes being offered for only $2 a person, April 10 and 24 from 9:30-11:30 a.m. The Market House will also be hosting a Spring Carnival Health Fair April 17 from 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. free of charge.

Seniors are welcome to come and enjoy the center’s pool tables, computers with internet access, state of the art exercise room, and basketball court. They also serve a hot meal and provide a place for adults 60 years and over to meet new people and have new experiences, or reconnect with old friends and neighbors with no registration fee.
