A Beltzhoover man was one of three people arrested in Brookline for possession of narcotics.
After a month-long investigation into complaints of illegal drug activity in Brookline, Pittsburgh Police Narcotics, Vice and SWAT officers executed a search warrant on Winterhill Street. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Demetrius Williams, 21, of Beltzhoover, Robert Anthony Agurs, 24, of Garfield and Jennifer Jenkins, 25, from Brookline.
While making the arrest, narcotics detectives seized: 4 ounces of heroin with a street value of $36,000; 14 bricks of heroin (700 stamp bags), street value $7,000; 2 ounces of marijuana, Street value $600; a .40 caliber Taurus PT140 handgun; and, various paraphernalia/packaging material for the sale of Heroin.
The suspects were taken to the Allegheny County Jail without incident and charged with: Possession of Narcotics (heroin and marijuana); Possession w/Intent to Deliver (heroin/marijuana) and Conspiracy. Mr. Williams and Mr. Augurs will also be charged with Persons Not to Possess a Firearm.
