S. Pittsburgh woman arrested for robbing Shadyside bank
A South Pittsburgh woman was arrested last week in connection with a Shadyside bank robbery on February 14.
An arrest warrant was issued for Robyn Marie Kitt, 34, of Antenor Ave. on February 20. Constables along with Zone 3 officers arrested her at her home and charged her with robbery before taking her to the Allegheny County Jail.
Zone 4 Officers were called to the First National Bank in the 800 block of S. Aiken Ave. in Shadyside for a report of a bank robbery on February 14. Detectives spoke with bank employees who reported a black female with light complexion in her 30s entered the front door of the bank approached both tellers, brandished a black handgun weapon and demanded money.
The tellers complied and gave the woman an undisclosed amount of cash.
There were no patrons in the bank at the time of the robbery and no one was injured.
