Pittsburgh’s Zoning Board of Adjustment has scheduled the following public hearing of interest to South Pittsburgh residents in the first floor hearing room of the John P. Robin Civic Building, 200 Ross Street, Downtown.

Zone case 30/13 on Thursday, Jan. 31 at 9:50 a.m. is the appeal of Jacob Beneau Metz, applicant, and Howard S. Berger, owner, for 2235 Mary Street in the 16th Ward (Zoning District UI).

Applicant requests use of 10,400 sq. ft. of a two-story structure as recycling processing center.

Variance Requests: 911.04.A.52, Use of recycling processing center in UI zoning district is a Special Exception.

Notes: Certificate of Occupancy 27797, dated 7/2/1974, permitted occupancy “Storage and distribution of beer with related office.”
