Residential permit parking may be expanding soon in Mount Washington.
Residents in the neighborhood have approached the City of Pittsburgh Department of City Planning about additional permit parking areas. The next step in the public process is a community meeting at the Mount Washington Senior Center, 122 Virginia Avenue at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 31 to discuss the program and identify which streets, if any, should be included.
The meeting will include a presentation on Pittsburgh’s Residential Parking Permit Program followed by a discussion about the program. The discussion will include whether to proceed with the next steps in implementing the program and which streets will be included.
