This fall, Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh’s Book Buzz crosses the river wants to connect with Pittsburghers where they are.
They’re planning events in locations in both the east and south ends of the city discussing each book twice a month.
Book Buzz: A Book Discussion with a Twist is planned for Tuesday, Dec. 18, from 7-8 p.m. in Allentown.
What makes Book Buzz different? They’ll still be discussing great books and encouraging lively conversation about them. But the books are a little different: fantasy, young adult, street lit. And the locations are very different: bars, restaurants, coffee shops. They hope everyone will grab a great book, pull up a bar stool, and get their book buzz started.
This month we’ll be discussing The Coldest Winter Ever by Sister Souljah on December 17 at Penn Brewery in Troy Hill and on December 18 at Cafe Retro in Allentown.
