The Emmaus Community of Pittsburgh has been named to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette annual list of the “Top Places to Work in Western PA 2012” for the second year in a row.
Based in South Side, Emmaus was ranked #11 among Small Businesses in the region moving up from their #18 ranking last year. Emmaus was again the top-ranked non-profit organization in this category.
The evaluation for the Top Workplaces program is based upon feedback from an anonymous employee survey conducted by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. The full listings are available at www.post-gazette.com.
Emmaus is a non-profit organization that provides permanent homes, respite care, and advocacy to people with intellectual disabilities and autism. They offers programs in South Side, Brookline, Dormont, and Mt. Lebanon.
