Nov. 4 Cut-a-thon will benefit Jameson’s Army

 


A free Hair Cut-A-Thon On November 4 at M Hair Designs will benefit Jameson’s Army, a local non-profit, all tips and donations will go to the organization.

Jameson’s Army was started on January 1 of this year by Arlington native Danielle McKain-Muehlbauer and Patrik McKain, originally from Baldwin, after their son was born with Hypo Plastic Left Heart Syndrome, a rare and deadly heart disorder called. In August of 2011 their son, Jameson, received a life changing gift of a donor heart and is now thriving.

For the past year Jameson’s Army is raising awareness about congenital heart defects and raising funds to help donate goods, food, drinks and therapeutic heart pillows to the heart center at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.
