The City of Pittsburgh’s official Halloween trick-or-treating hours are on Wednesday, Oct. 31 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Residents are encouraged to visit the city’s website to download a printable Halloween safety guide which includes activity sheets for children and a safety message from the Mayor Luke Ravenstahl and Police Chief Harper.
Community groups or churches holding Halloween activities may register their event on the city’s webpage. Upon registering, groups will receive copies of the Halloween safety guide along with special recognition from Mayor Ravenstahl. The resources aim to provide a fun, interactive way for children to learn about the importance of trick-or-treating safety.
