Halloween costume contest in Carrick

The annual Carrick/Overbrook Halloween Costume Contest is right around the corner on Saturday, Oct. 27 at 5:30 p.m. in the Phillips Park Recreation Center in Carrick.

Children 12 years of age or younger are eligible to participate. Pre-registration is required for the event by calling 412-884-5509 and providing the name of the child, age and a contact phone number.

The costume contest is sponsored by the Carrick Community Council, Overbrook Community Council, Phillips Park Advisory Council, Hilltop Alliance, Colteryahn Dairy, Council Woman Natalia Rudiak and State Senator Jay Costa.

Everyone is welcome to stick around afterwards for the annual Phillips Haunted Park. Haunted Park admission is $3 for adults and $2 for children.
