Free flu shots offered at S. S. Outpatient Center

Free flu shots will be offered through the UPMC Mercy South Side Outpatient Center Walk-In Primary Care Clinic during October, while supplies last.

The free flu shots will be administered on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Flu shots ill not be administered to children under the age of 12.

The flu vaccinations are recommended for most adults, expecially those over age 65 or with chronic health problems; health care professionals; residents of nursing homes or extended care facilities; adults and children with chronic heart or lung disease; adults and children with metabolic disorders such as diabetes; and, people with HIV.

UPMC Walk-In Primary Care Clinic is located with the UPMC Mercy South Side Outpatient center at 2000 Mary Street in South Side.
