Upcoming public hearings at the Zoning Board

Pittsburgh's Zoning Board of Adjustment has scheduled the following public hearings of interest to South Pittsburgh residents in the first floor hearing room of the John P. Robin Civic Building, 200 Ross Street, Downtown.

Zone case 170/12 on Thursday, Sept. 20 at 10:20 a.m. is the appeal of Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, owner and applicant, for 2205 East Carson Street in the 16th Ward (Zoning District LNC).

Applicant requests a new 14 sq. ft. double-side internal LED sign.

Variance Requests: 919.03.O.3 - Electronic non-advertising signs are not permitted in LNC zoning district.

Zone case 196/12 on Thursday, Oct. 4 at 10:00 a.m. is the appeal of Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, owner and applicant, for 50 Holt Street in the 16th Ward (Zoning District R1D-H).

Applicant requests an existing porch enclosure for two-story single-family dwelling.

Variance Requests: 903.03.D.2 - Minimum 5' interior side yard setback required and 0' requested; Minimum 15' front setback required and 13' 5½" requested.
