Sabers' to host program on prevention of concussions

The Sabers are hosting Dr. R.J. Elbin, Ph.D. post-doctoral research fellow UPMC Sports Medicine Concussion Program Department of Orthopaedic Surgery University of Pittsburgh on Thursday, Aug. 9, at 7 p.m. at Quarry Field for a presentation on the signs, symptoms and prevention of concussions.

This is open to the community as well as all Saber players and families. The concession stand will be open for the presentation.

Practice for players and cheerleaders started on July 30. Practices will be held every week day at Quarry Field from 6-8 p.m. during the month of August.
