Single lane alternating traffic begins on Becks Run Road
Pennsylvania American Water and its contractor, Kokosing Construction Company, is limiting traffic
to one single alternating lane along Becks Run Road, between Agnew and Wagner streets.
The closure is scheduled to be completed by the evening rush hour on July 30, weather permitting,
and is needed to accommodate the installation of new sanitary sewer lines to the Hays Mine Treatment Plant's new finished water storage facility. Motorists are asked to use alternative routes and to avoid the project area.
The new line installations are part of Pennsylvania American Water's $101 million improvement project
at the Hays Mine Water Treatment Plant, Becks Run Pumping Station, Arlington Booster Station and E.H. Aldrich Treatment Complex.
