Childrens programs at Carrick Library

Summer Storytime happens every Thursday July at 11:30 a.m. at the Carrick Branch of the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, 1811 Brownsville Road.

At Storytime they share stories, rhymes and songs to nurture early literacy skills in toddlers and preschoolers.

Summer Kids Club is on Thursdays from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. at the Carrick Library. Kids in grades 1-6 can come in to celebrate Summer Reading and join in for crafts, games, and more fun.

The Pittsburgh Zoo @ the Library is on Thursday, July 19, from 4-4:45 p.m. The Pittsburgh Zoo will be visiting the library, and bringing along some of their animal friends. Call to register today! 412-882-3897.

Teens ages 12-16 hang out at the library every Tuesday for games, art projects, snacks, and more at the weekly Teen Thing from 4- 5 p.m.

Teen Anime Club is on Wednesday, July 18 at 3:30 PM. Also, don't miss the, two-day movie-making workshop coming to Carrick.
