Upcoming Pittsburgh Zoning Board hearings

Pittsburgh's Zoning Board of Adjustment has scheduled the following public hearings of interest to South Pittsburgh residents in the first floor hearing room of the John P. Robin Civic Building, 200 Ross Street, Downtown.

Zone case 128/12 on Thursday, July 12 at 9:00 a.m. is the appeal of Robert L. Damewood Jr. and Hui Siew, owner and applicant, for 312 Belonda Street in the 19th Ward (Zoning District R1D-H).

Applicant requests a 8.5' x 19' one-car parking pad at front of two-story single-family detached dwelling.

Variance Requests: 903.03.D.2­ - Mimimum 5' interior side yard setback required and 3.5' requested; Minimum 15' front setback required and 3' requested.

Zone case 135/12 on Thursday, July 12 at 9:20 a.m. is the appeal of 860 Realty Corporation, owner, and Precision Sign & Awning, applicant, for 860 Saw Mill Run Blvd. in the 18th Ward (Zoning District HC).

Applicant requests an existing business ID electronic sign.

Special Exception Request: 919.03.O.3­ - Electronic non-advertising signs within the HC zoning district shall be approved as a Special Exception.

Zone case 137/12 on Thursday, July 12 at 9:40 a.m. is the appeal of Ronald Bezak, owner and applicant, for 312 Belonda Street in the 30th Ward (Zoning District R1D-H).

Applicant requests use of existing two-story structure as two-family dwelling with two car parking stalls at rear.

Variance Requests: 911.04.A­ - Use of two-family dwellings is not permitted in R1D-H zoning district. 903.03.D.2­ - Mimimum 5' interior side yard setback required for two car parking pad and 4' requested.
