Poetry at Coffee House

The Coffee House at the South Side Presbyterian Church features poets Philip Terman and Judith Vollmer, in conjunction with the Pittsburgh Poetry Exchange and Autumn House Press on Friday, June 8, 7:30 – 9 p.m.

An award-winning poet, Mr. Terman's books include his latest, The Torah Garden, along with The House of Sages, Book of the Unbroken Days, and Rabbis of the Air. He teaches at Clarion University and lives outside of Grove City.

Ms. Vollmer is also an award-winning poet; her books include The Water Books, Reactor, The Door Open to the Fire, Black Butterfly, and Level Green. She teaches at the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg and in the Drew University MFA Program.

The poets will have books available for sale and signing. 

The Coffee House at the South Side Presbyterian Church is held on the second Friday monthly at the corner of South 20th and Sarah Streets (1926 Sarah St) in South Side. It includes candlelight conversation, creative performers, and refreshments with the suggested donation of $5.
