The Constellation Senior Players Championship will offer free admission to Active Duty, retired and Reserve members of the military and their dependents, tournament officials.
Members of the military will receive complimentary admission throughout tournament week, beginning Tuesday, June 26 and running through the completion of the Champions Tour's third major championship of the season Sunday, July 1. The Constellation Senior Players visits Fox Chapel Golf Club for the first time next month.
"On the heels of Memorial Day observances throughout the country, we found the timing perfect to announce our military policy for the 2012 Constellation Senior Players," said tournament Chief Operating Officer Brian Goin. "We are excited to welcome Active Duty, reserve and Retired members of our military, and their dependents, to attend the Constellation Senior Players free of charge and to enjoy Champions Tour competition at the highest level."
Active Duty, retired and Reserve military members can download their complimentary tickets by visiting www.birdiesforthebrave.org and clicking the "ticketing" option. The ticket and a valid military I.D. must be presented at the main entrance gate to the Constellation Senior Players prior to admission. Veterans can visit http://vettix.org/.
In addition to offering complimentary admission, Active Duty reserve and Retired members of the military, and their dependents, can visit the Birdies for the Brave Patriots' Outpost hospitality chalet, adjacent to No. 18 fairway. The Patriots' Outpost is being sponsored by Fox Chapel Golf Club members Dr. Jim and Bea Bradley. Food and beverages will be offered free of charge from Wednesday, June 27 through Sunday, July 1.
General admission tickets are also now available at Giant Eagle grocery stores throughout Greater Pittsburgh. Fans can purchase both week-long and single-day grounds tickets at Giant Eagle locations. Week-long grounds tickets are available for $75, plus taxes and fees, while single-day tickets (available Tuesday-Sunday) are $25, plus taxes and fees. Available exclusively at Giant Eagle Stores is the Constellation Senior Players Family Four Pack, which includes two adult grounds tickets, two youth grounds tickets and a $20 concessions credit. The package sells for $60 ($70 value).
Upgraded ticket packages along with general admission grounds tickets can be purchased at www.cspgolf.com. Included among the upgraded tickets available online are weekly clubhouse badges, which can be purchased for $225, plus fees. Single-day tickets to the Fox Den hospitality tent, which overlooks the 16th green and 17th tee and has an upgraded concession menu and bar items for additional purchase, are also available online. Fans must specify day (Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday) when making purchase as all Fox Den tickets are day specific. General Parking is at the Galleria at Pittsburgh Mills. Shuttle busses will transport spectators from the mall to the main tournament gate at Fox Chapel Golf Club. General Parking and shuttle transportation are free of charge.
Pre-sold Premium Parking (Lot 6) is available in close proximity to Fox Chapel Golf Club at Shady Side Academy. The fee is $20 plus fees per day, with shuttle busses providing transportation to the main tournament gate. Purchase in advance, as space is limited in this lot and access may not be available for spectators who arrive without a pass. Passes may be purchased by visiting www.cspgolf.com.

The Constellation Senior Players marks the Champions Tour's first visit to Western Pennsylvania since the 2005 Senior PGA Championship was contested at Laurel Valley Golf Club in Ligonier and the first in Pittsburgh since the 1998 Pittsburgh Senior Classic.
