Dream Big! Summer Reading Club is starting up at the Carrick Branch Library

 

June 5, 2012



Kids of all ages are invited to sign up for the annual Summer Reading program at the Carrick Library, featuring fun activities and prizes all summer long.

It all starts with the Summer Kick-off Party on Saturday, June 9 at 1 p.m. Stop in to sign up and stay for crafts, snacks, & more.

Storytime is on Thursdays in June and July at 11:30 a.m. Bring the little ones for stories, rhymes, songs and more fun activities to encourage early learning and literacy. Perfect for toddlers and preschoolers.

Summer Kid's Club is every Thursday from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. Kids in grades 1-5 can come and hang out at the library for art projects, crafts, games, and more.

Don't miss the annual Extravaganza, an annual free family festival on the lawn at the Main library in Oakland on Sunday, June 10 from noon - 5 p.m. Imagination and fun await everyone in an afternoon packed with free family activities.
