Here's a chance to give input on preservation policies

PRESERVEPGH, Pittsburgh's plan to develop policies and strategies for the protection and preservation of the city's historic and cultural assets. is close to being finalized.

The city is looking for input on the latest draft document and recommendations at a series of community meetings. The meetings, which will also discuss cultural heritage and historic preservation, are being held during June thoughout the city.

The latest draft of the document is available online for public review and comments through June 19 at: www.planpgh.com/preservepgh.

Community meetings are scheduled for:

Monday, June 4, from 6-8 p.m. at the Grand Hall at the Priory, 614 Pressley Street, East Allegheny;

Tuesday, June 5, 6-8 p.m. at the Brew House Association, 2100 Mary Street, South Side;

Wednesday, June 13, 6-8 p.m. at Bakery Square, 6425 Penn Avenue, Larimer/Shadyside, parking is available in the Bakery Square garage;

Thursday, June 14, 6-8 p.m. at the Village Tavern and Trattoria, 424 S. Main Street, West End.
