Adult study group starting on dating and relationships

May 15, 2012

On May 17, Kathy Hamilton-Vargo plans to start a 7-week Adult Study Group on "Dating and Relationships that Work" on Thursday evenings at 7:30 p.m. at the South Side Presbyterian Church.

Participants will read and discuss the book, Boundaries in Dating: Making Dating Work, by psychologists Dr. Henry Cloud and Dr. John Townsend. The book is helpful in making sense out of dating, how to perceive and avoid pitfalls and even revolutionize the way to handle all relationships.

Each participant needs a book; if interested, let Pastor Hamilton-Vargo know by May 10 so she can get the books in time for the first meeting. The book costs $11. Those who cannot afford the book, should sign up anyway; the church has financial help for the cost for those who need it.

The Church is located at the corner of S. 20th and Sarah streets and is fully handicap accessible. For more information or to sign up, call 412-431-0118.
