Bids for Kids art show, auction benefits Brashear

On Saturday, April 28, the doors of The Gallery on Baum, 4643 Baum Boulevard, will open at 6:30 p.m. for an art show and auction to benefit Brashear Association's free New Artists program at Pittsburgh Phillips K-5.

Bids for Kids

will feature more than 40 show pieces created on 10"x14" wooden pallets by local artists who participated in Utrecht Art Supplies competition, "Pigments of Your Imagination." All of the proceeds from the sale of the palettes will be donated to the Brashear in the form of a Utrecht gift card to purchase supplies for their art program.

The charity auction will begin at 7:30 p.m. Bids on individual palettes will start at $20 with subsequent bids in increments of $5. Each winning bidder will also receive a free Utrecht gift bag valued at $25.
