Two Hilltop area men were among the four arrested last week in a drug bust in the Hill District.
Last week, on Thursday, April 12, Zone 2 plainclothes detectives executed a search warrant at a residence in the 2500 block of Aliquippa Street.
A thorough search of the home was completed and police seized more than $29,000 in cash, approximately 1,000 stamped bags of Heroin, an AR-15assault rifle, five semi-automatic handguns, marijuana, scales and 16 pipe bombs. One of the guns recovered, Smith and Wesson .40 caliber hand gun, was found to be stolen out of the Greensburg area.
The Pittsburgh Police Bomb Squad - EOD (Explosive Ordnance Devices) responded to the scene and took possession of the pipe bombs for disposal. Four individuals were located and detained inside of the residence.
The suspects were identified as Timothy Wallace, 27, from the Hill District; Theodore Morris III, 19, from Mt. Oliver area; Ronnell Sims, 25, 25yo from Beltzhoover area; and, Jesse Young, 28from the E. Liberty/Highland Park area.
All will face the following charges: conspiracy, possession with the intent to deliver (heroin), possession of a controlled substance (marijuana), possession of drug paraphernalia, risking a catastrophe, possessing weapons of mass destruction (pipe bombs), possession of explosive and incendiary devices and receiving stolen property.
Mr. Young will also face Violation of the Uniform Firearms Act. The suspects were taken to Zone 2 for interviewing and subsequently transported to the Allegheny County Jail and charged.
