Zoning Board Hearings

Pittsburgh's Zoning Board of Adjustment has scheduled the following public hearings of interest to South Pittsburgh residents in the first floor hearing room of the John P. Robin Civic Building, 200 Ross Street, Downtown.

Zone case 33/12 on Thursday, Feb. 23 at 9:50 a.m. is the appeal of BD Mongolian Grill, owner and applicant for 428 S. 27th Street in the 16th Ward (Zoning District SP-5).

Applicant requests a sidewalk cafe with three seat tables with four chairs each as an accessory to a restaurant.

Special Exception Requests: 911.04.A.68(d) – Sidewalk cafe area shall be separaged by removable barrier surrounding the perimeter; the height of the barrier shall be approximately 3 ft. and removed with the cafe is closed; proposed barrier is removable, but will only be taken down at the end of the season.
