Zone case 196B/11 on Thursday, Oct. 13. at 9:30 a.m. is the appeal of Mary Catherine Thomas, owner/applicant for 144 Ruth Street in the 19th Ward (Zoning District R1D-H).
Applicant requests reconstruction of a damaged non-conforming use (2 unit dwelling).
Use Variance Requests: 921.03.C.2 Reconstruction of a damaged non-conforming use is a special exception in a R1D zoning district.
Zone case 165/11 on Thursday, Oct. 13. at 10:00 a.m. is the appeal of Blaise Peterson, owner/applicant for 107 Knox Avenue in the 30th Ward (Zoning District R1D-H).
Applicant requests expansion of a legal non-conforming use; from 20 dwelling units to 22 dwelling units of an existing 3-story structure.
Use Variance Requests: 921.02.A.4 Expansion of a non-conforming use is a special exception; the limit on the expansion is 15 percent to the total floor area and the applicant is requesting an expansion of 7.3 percent.
