Halloween celebration with a party, crafts and baked sale

The Carnegie Library of PittsburghKnoxville Library will offer a Halloween celebration for all ages on Saturday, Oct. 29 at 11:30 a.m.

Professional storyteller Alan Irvine will share some spine-tingling (but not too scary) stories for the whole family. Crafts, games and a costume parade will add to the day's festivities. Parents may want to bring a camera in order to take photos of their children in the special "pumpkin patch" picture area.

When visiting the library, be sure to stop at the sale of gently used books and audiovisual materials. They'll also have a frightfully good selection of baked goods on sale for those who'd like to sink their teeth into something tasty.

The Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh- Knoxville branch is at 400 Brownsville Road. For more information, call 412-381-6543, or visit their webpage at: www.carnegielibrary.org/locations/knoxville.
