Free flu shots in South Side

The UPMC Walk-In Primary Care Clinic in South Side is offering free flu shots, while supplies last, in October, every Tuesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Flu shots are recommended for most adults, especially those over age 65 or with chronic health problems; health care professionals; residents of nursing homes or extended care facilities; adults and children with chronic heart or lung disease; adults and children with metabolic disorders such as diabetes; and, people with HIV.

UPMC Walk-In Primary Care Clinic is located within the UPMC Mercy South Side Outpatient Center at 2000 Mary Street on South Side.
