Cardinal Resources receives award

Today, Tuesday, Sept. 27, Congressman Mike Doyle will present the Export Achievement Award to Cardinal Resources LLC.

The Export Achievement Award was created by the U.S. Commercial Service of the U.S. Department of Commerce to recognize U.S. companies that successfully penetrate international markets for distribution of their products.

Cardinal Resource Clean Water, Clean Environment, Worldwide commitment includes the patented Red Bird System, a solar-powered community-sized drinking water system, and the Grey Bird Approach to wastewater treatment and green infrastructure as well as a depth of traditional environmental and engineering services.

A demonstration of the Rapid-Response Red Bird System produces 43,608 liters (11,520 gallons) of pure drinking water each day using solar power, natural media filtration in patented Red Bird filters and chlorination to provide residual disinfection from fresh water sources.

Cardinal Resources President, Kevin Jones will accept the award from Congressman Doyle at their South Side offices at 1505 E. Carson Street.
