PCN airing AARP Town Meeting on the future of Social Security and Medicare

The Pennsylvania Cable Network (PCN) will partner with AARP for a town meeting on "The Future of Social Security and Medicare." The event will air LIVE on the statewide network from 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 25.@

@The town meeting, which is closed to the public, will be held at the Longwood at Oakmont Center in Verona, Pennsylvania. Local AARP volunteers and Longwood residents will be in attendance.

@Corinna Vecsey Wilson, vice president of programming at PCN, will moderate a panel including Rep. Jason Altmire (D- PA), Rep. Tim Murphy (R-PA) and an expert on the issue from AARP's national office in Washington, DC. Attendees will have the chance to have their questions answered by this panel.

@This is the second of four town meetings sponsored by AARP that will be aired statewide on PCN. Additional airtimes for this Pittsburgh area town meeting have been tentatively scheduled for 12 a.m., 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 26.@
