Police ask for help in South Side assult

Suspect in sexual assault case in South Side.

On Saturday, June 11, at approximately 1:30 a.m. a 25 year old white woman was approaching her home in the 2500 block of Sidney Street when an unidentified white male, approximately 25 years old, grabbed her from behind and threw her on the ground.

While on the ground, the victim reported she was sexually assaulted. After the assault, the actor fled with two other men in a red older model Honda Accord which was parked on 26

th Street.

The suspect is described as a white man, 6' 0:, 185 lbs., 25 to 30 years old, blond hair and wearing a red shirt and khaki shorts.

Pittsburgh Police Sex Assault and Family Crisis Unit (SAFC) detectives are investigating the incident and asking anyone who may have witnessed or has any information regarding the suspect or the vehicle involved in this incident is asked to call SAFC at 412- 323-7141. Callers may remain anonymous.
