Hope 4 the Burgh coming to S. S.

LifeStone Church is partnering with the Network of Hope, a Pittsburgh based non-profit organization, to bring "Hope 4 the Burgh" to eight different locations in Pittsburgh including South Side in August.

The event's purpose is to meet the practical needs of Pittsburgh's communities - particularly in regards to school supplies and health screenings as well as provide a fun event for families to attend. Hope 4 the Burgh will be taking place in South Side on Saturday, Aug. 13 at Armstrong Field, 13th and Sarah streets, from noon-4 p.m.

All goods and services are provided free of charge to the community. Festivities will include: free backpacks and school supplies for elementary age students, chiropractic adjustments, food and drinks, face painting, dental and vision screenings, grocery distribution, games and activities, an inflatable obstacle course, music, makeovers and more.
