TreeVitalize workshop at Conservation Consultants

June 14, 2011

Since 2008 TreeVitalize has planted 10,000 trees with over 3,000 volunteers in communities throughout Pittsburgh. Trees provide many benefits to communities including cleaning our air and water, reducing heating and cooling costs, and beautifying our neighborhoods.

TreeVitalize can help plant more trees in the neighborhood. Come to their Application Workshop to learn how to engage neighbors for this cause and organize a tree planting in the community.

The TreeVitalize Application Workshop is planned for Wednesday, June 22, 6-7:30 p.m. at Conservation Consultants, Inc. 64 South 14th Street.

There is no fee for this workshop and dinner will be provided. Assistance with travel or childcare is available upon request.

Contact Sally Joe Guzik at 412-362-6360 or sallyjoe@treepittsburgh.org with any questions and to register. RSVP are due by Monday, June 20.

The deadline for spring 2012 tree applications is Friday, Sept. 9.
