Poetry reading in South Side

The Coffee House at the South Side Presbyterian Church is featuring creative poets Michael Wurster and Judith R. Robinson in a Poetry Reading on Friday, June 10, 7:30 – 9 p.m.

Mr. Wurster has had numerous books published and has taught poetry and poetry writing extensively. He is a founding member of the Pittsburgh Poetry Exchange; and he was awarded Pittsburgh Magazine's Harry Schwalb Excellence in the Arts Award in 1996 for his contributions to poetry and Pittsburgh.

Ms. Robinson is a poet, writer, editor, and teacher, who also has numerous books published and is active with the Pittsburgh Poetry Exchange. They were co-editors of Along These Rivers: poetry & photography from Pittsburgh.

Books will be available for purchase and signing.

The Coffee House at the South Side Presbyterian Church is held monthly at the corner of South 20

th and Sarah streets (1926 Sarah St.) in South Side. It includes candlelight conversation, creative performers, and refreshments with the suggested donation of $5.
